For their sins, the following members have been elected to be our hard working committee for the 2010 season
President: Andy Lindley
Vice President: Neil Shaw
Secretary: John Argyle
Treasurer: Stuart Charlton
The Committee: Albert Bingham
Roger Carr
Dave Clifford
Jonny Machon
Bill Mullins
John Stones
It is never easy being on the committee and they all work very hard to keep our club running smoothly. If you do contact us one of these people will contact you, so please use the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.
Even better, come down to the field any weekend when the weather is dry and not too windy, (we don't mind the cold but the wind plays havoc with the landings!) and speak to one of them in person.
Alternatively, come and see us at the Sun Inn on one of the nights we have a meeting.
See the "Events Calendar" page for this.
Hope to see you some time soon.

Helicopter fliers please note
Don Valley MFC is predominately a fixed-wing Club and we have no training facilities for the novice helicopter pilot.
Membership applications from proficient helicopter fliers will be considered but placings are limited and are strictly subject to the following condition.
Anyone who states that they can fly a helicopter solo, regardless of what achievements they may have, will be invited to the field at a convenient time where they will be asked to demonstrate to an approved Club Instructor / Examiner that they are able to do so safely.
In addition to any other flying skills that they are able to demonstrate, they MUST show that they are able to safely fly a circuit, i.e., take off, fly a rectangular or wide oval pattern, final approach and land.
