FIELD RULES
Listed Below are our field rules

1. Lock the gate behind you after entering / leaving and do not leave the combination showing.
2. Cars to be parked in the main car park only. Remove cars from the loading areas
immediately after loading / unloading.
3. Cars not to be taken beyond the car park when the field is liable to damage due
to wet conditions. Do not remove the barriers or drive around them if they are in
place.
4. Stay towards the outer edge of the track when driving to the far side in order
to minimise any damage to the grass.
5. Flying is NOT permitted whilst mowing is in progress or when work-
6. Take care not to come into conflict with full sized aircraft. Be particularly
aware of the helicopter using the motor cycle track to take off / land.
7. Take care not to endanger the farm workers, nor risk the good relationship we
have with them by inconsiderate flying.
8. Do not go onto the field without ensuring that anybody on the flight line is aware
of your presence.
9. If disabled members are present, give them priority for use of the tables.
10. When laying out your kit, give thought to other members coming later. Position
models and equipment not needed for the next flight behind you and leave space for
others.

landing strip, tractors or people working in the adjoining fields.
14. Do not fly in a manner which may endanger or upset other members.
15. Do not fly with any type of model or flying style which may obstruct other flyers
or prevent / restrict them flying/taking off/landing.
16. When leaving the field, turn your chair upside down, put your rubbish in the
bin and take your tins and glass home with you.
17. Sun position and wind direction both play a part in deciding which side we fly
from. Be prepared to change sides if conditions change.
18. With regards to FPV flying, the Club adheres to BMFA guidelines. It is YOUR responsibility
to understand the rules and fly within them.
19. The club/committee reserve the right to refuse permission to fly, any model considered
to be against the clubs well being.
20. Club officials have the final say on any disputes at the field.
